South West Lakes has been appointed by Bournemouth Water as the new manager of the Royalty Fishery from Friday 1 April 2022.
We are an independent charity that cares for over 40 inland waters in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset including 13 trout fisheries and 14 coarse fisheries. We already manage Christchurch Harbour, including the Lower Avon and Stour, on behalf of Bournemouth Water. We are a member of the Angling Trust.
We are honoured to have been appointed to manage this special and unique fishery, with its long and distinguished history, and we’d like to reassure anglers that we’ll be working hard to ensure a smooth transition.
