What to look forward to Explore an array of unique local crafts lovingly created by talented artisans and enjoy live music performances that will set the perfect backdrop for a delightful lakeside day. Gain insights into the natural world with engaging wildlife talks by our experts. Adventure-seekers can their hand at exciting watersports activities for free, with a choice of kayaking or paddleboarding (we suggest bringing swimming gear or a change of clothes with you for the day). There will also be fun games and activities to entertain the entire family, and don't forget to bring your furry friends along for scenic dog walks around the lake. Book a dam tour and discover the hidden engineering marvels usually off limits to the public. Sign-ups available in person at the event, spaces are limited so book your timeslot early to not miss out. Event details The Roadford Lake Summer Fair will run from 11am to 4pm. With free parking and free entry, it’s the perfect opportunity to gather your loved ones and enjoy a memorable day. Take part in our Art Competition We are running an Art Comptetion to celebrate Roadford Lake Summer Fair! How to enter: Print out our colouring sheet - available here. Sheets will also be available on the event day. Make it your own - you can use any medium to create your final design. Go wild with paints, collage, glitter or crayons. Bring your art to Roadford Lake Summer Fair for judging on Sunday 5 July, make sure to hand in your work by 2.30pm on the day. This competition is open to everyone! The under-18 prize is a paddlesport one hour rental for up to four people (valid until September 2026). Winners over 18 can choose the activity rental or a bottle of port.
