The lakes of the South West provide stunning natural environments where groups can get to grips with water and land activities, develop communication skills, focus on team work, improve self-esteem and be at one with nature.

Whether it’s kayaking, raft building, a nature walk, a corporate social responsibility day or swinging through the trees on high ropes, everyone who visits us leaves with a huge sense of personal achievement.

Our three AALA Licensed Activity Centres have fully-qualified instructors experienced in planning and carrying out mixed-ability group activities. Our friendly team will be there every step of the way - helping you plan and design your day, providing group instructors when needed and ensuring all the administration and logistics are covered.

Schools and Colleges

Whether you’re looking for a weekly sports club or a week-long residential, we can provide exceptional activities for your students. We follow the simple principles that people do their best learning whilst they are having fun, also that in order to truly have fun – you have to be (and feel) safe.

Teachers can be reassured that our staff will manage the safety of the group whilst providing expert tuition, meaning that you can enjoy the day too and use this valuable time to further understand and strengthen the bond with your students.

I spent seven hours at Stithians Lake yesterday helping 50 young people with additional needs access kayaking lessons. The staff in the office are so helpful with the booking process and do as much as they can to help make the activity accessible for all. The equipment was supplied and the staff helped select the right size for the individual young people. All the young people and the parents and carers thoroughly enjoyed the sessions. We will definitely be back.

Uniformed Groups and Youth Organisations

Our activity centres are the perfect locations for a camp, training weekend or fun activity week.

We can accommodate large groups camping on site, alternatively you can just come for daytime activities.

Our flexible and bespoke approach to working with groups means that we can help develop the perfect mix of activities to meet your budget and objectives. 

The Cubs (and leaders) absolutely loved it, they are also excited about getting their Time on the Water badge as well.  They have already been asking if we are going to do it next year!

We had our staff day out on the lake today and it was fantastic! All the activities available meant that there was something for everyone - they were incredibly well run and so much fun. I don’t think any of us have laughed as much as we did whilst raft building. The instructors were knowledgeable and I never would have thought we would have people attempting headstands whilst paddle boarding! It was a really well-run day.
